ClickerTraining for Dogs Second Meetup

This is a new group in the Richmond area for loving dog owners and trainers! If you're new to dogs, new to training, new to clicker training, or just want a place full of dogs and people to enjoy, come join us! We embrace compassion with our canine friends and want to learn and share ways to communicate and train our furry friends with positive reinforcement. Have you read Karen Pryor's "Don't Shoot the Dog" or Jean Donaldson's "Culture Clash" and don't know where to begin? Maybe you've read Tamar Geller's "The Loved Dog" and you would love to surround yourself with like minded people where you can practice the techniques in her book. We're the group you want to join! Want to be free of choke chains, prong collars and head halters once and for all? This is a great place to practice loose leash walking and help your dog learn to choose to heel! Meanwhile, meet other great humans and swap dog treats and stories!

This will be our second meeting and the very nice people at Gander Mountain are letting us use their meeting space! They have warm weather gear for walking our dogs, plus stuff we can buy to make spending more time with them outside easier on the non furry, two legged ones. :)
